About Living Coasts
Dedicated to the conservation of marine and coastal environments, Living Coasts provides an experience like no other. Penguin Beach allows you to get up close to our colonies of African and macaroni penguins, whilst fur seals, otters, puffins and a whole host of other coastal creatures provide an inspiring insight into life on the shoreline for all ages. A regular programme of daily talks and feeds keeps you up to date with our work and animals, whilst specialist workshops on key curriculum topics makes sure your visit provides a valuable learning experience in a unique setting.
Our dedicated team will help you plan a visit that will engage, enthuse, and empower your pupils regardless of age, ability or subject. From plastic pollution to amazing adaptations, discover life in our oceans and bring the broader curriculum to life!
